Today was a full of highs and lows. Right before my heat it looked like the Pipe conditions turned for the better with offshore winds As soon as I sat down to stretch the Konas came in an shattered my dreams of Pipe pits. I had a plan to wait for the two best barrels of the heat and got trumped by 2-3 insiders that i was not event looking at to go. All the sets pinched due to the wind and even though I had one good score my second wave at Backdoor pinched and sent me into a horrible paddle situation inwhich I got smashed on the reef at Backdoor/Aints.
